17 PracticeERP Clients Recognized in the 2026 IPA 500 Rankings

PracticeERP, a NetSuite-based operational platform purpose-built for CPA and accounting firms, today announced that 17 of its client firms have been named to the 2026 IPA 500, the annual ranking published by INSIDE Public Accounting (IPA) that identifies the 500 largest accounting firms in the United States by net revenue.

The IPA 500 is one of the most closely watched benchmarks in the profession, reflecting firm size, growth, and market position based on data submitted through the IPA Practice Management Survey. This year’s rankings highlight a profession in the midst of rapid consolidation and growth — and PracticeERP clients are well represented across the list, from top-100 firms to fast-growing regional practices.

PracticeERP clients recognized in the 2026 IPA 500 include:

“Seeing 17 PracticeERP clients represented on the IPA 500 is something our entire team can be proud of,” said Dirk Shimpach, Co-Founder & CEO at PracticeERP. “These are firms that are growing, evolving and competing at a very high level, and our team has worked incredibly hard to build a platform and a client experience that can support that growth. This recognition belongs first to our clients, but it also speaks volumes about the people behind PracticeERP who show up every day committed to helping firms operate better.”

PracticeERP is built on the NetSuite platform to give CPA firms a single, real-time system of record—replacing the patchwork of disconnected practice management, billing, and reporting tools many firms rely on today. Clients using PracticeERP have reported go-lives in as few as 100 days, a 25–40% reduction in operational overhead, and up to a 30% increase in firm-wide productivity.

“The accounting profession is changing quickly, and the firms that are succeeding aren’t standing still,” Shimpach added. “They’re acquiring, expanding services, investing in technology, and looking for better ways to scale. Our team’s job is to make sure their operational infrastructure doesn’t become the thing that holds them back. Having PracticeERP clients represented throughout the IPA 500 reinforces that we’re solving a very real problem for some of the strongest firms in the profession.”

Shimpach said the recognition also reflects the partnership between PracticeERP and its clients.

“One of the things I’m most proud of is that we don’t build PracticeERP in a vacuum. Our customers challenge us, give us feedback and help us continue to make the product better. The success we’re seeing is the result of a team that listens to our clients and clients who are willing to push us to keep raising the bar. That’s how you build something that can grow alongside a firm.”

As consolidation continues across the accounting profession, firms are increasingly looking for technology that can support multiple locations, service lines, entities and acquisitions without creating additional administrative complexity.

PracticeERP brings financial management, billing, resource management, reporting and firm operations together on one platform, giving leaders greater visibility into performance and a foundation that can scale as the firm grows.

“The IPA 500 isn’t just a list of large firms — it’s a snapshot of where the profession is going,” Shimpach said. “We’re incredibly proud that so many PracticeERP clients are part of that story, and we’re equally proud of the team we’ve built to support them. This is a great milestone, but for us it’s also motivation to keep improving, innovating and earning the trust our clients have placed in us.”
